ADEKOM’s R&D team combined a sprinkler system compressor and an oil-free compressor from our German partners to generate a completely new environmental friendly series: ETC oil-free screw air compressor.


Proper disposal is no problem either as a matter of fact, in terms of oil content the condensate is of drinking water quality! In the ETC converter the long hydrocarbon chains of the residual oil contained in the compressed air are broken up into harmless carbon dioxide and water, i.e. substances occurring naturally in the air.


The catalytic converter incorporates a container with compact granulated pellets through which the compressed air circulates. This process breaks down and converts both oil droplets and oil vapors. The condensate that forms afterwards is therefore completely oil free and can be disposed of much less expensively and without the need for additional treatment.


Oil/hydrogen concentration is below 0,0025 mg/m3. The addition of the catalytic converter guarantees class 1 compressed air (ISO 8573-1) for all applications where oil free compressed air is essential.



Intelligent electronic control panel

 

The control and regulation system elaborates the pressure signals received by the sensor included inside converting them into signals that modify the free air capacity.

With a correct programming it is assured a stable flow of compressed air to match the variable demand with a minimum pressure variation.


“S1-20” is capable of:

To keep under control of all parameters included in the unit

To modify the programmed conditions as required (within the preset limits)

To determine maintenance requirements

To program the stop and start of unit in accordance to the requirements


There are in the electronic panel itself luminous displays to visualize the following:

One display to indicate the operating pressure

One display to indicate the operating temperature

Alarm messages

State messages

Maintenance messages


There is also visible:

Start push button

Delayed stop push button

Emergency stop push button

It is also included a programming button that allows to the user to modify that operating parameters of the compressor itself (within the pre-set limits) to adapt them to the eventual specific requirements.

 


 

    

Energy Saving Electric Motor

 

The special modified electric motor can achieve high efficiency of 95.2% that brings an unprecedented level of energy saving. High quality high speed bearings from ‘SKF’ are fitted for continuous trouble-free operation.



 


Modern Concept Suction Control System

 

Modern concept suction control valve with
automatic closure can prevent any oil escape. The control unit can
automatically adjust from 60-100% according to the system air demand to
effectively minimize operation cost.

Optimal energy efficiency and outstanding reliability is achieved from

High Efficiency Aftercool


The enlarged high efficiency oil and air combination air-cooled aftercooler is specifically designed for tropical climate to assure all components work perfectly even under high ambient temperature and humidity summer season. All design data are referenced at 46°C ambient temperature.

 

 

 


Sensors and Controllers

 

Accurate temperature control and alarm achieved by reliable sensors and controllers. This can safeguard the compressor to discharge any oil content to the system in case there is any machine failure.



 



 
Cylone Separator

A proven design cylone separator with condensate drain is installed at the downstream of ETC system just as a super dam against oil splash in case there is malfunction of the ETC system. Any oil escape from the compressor is not possible unlike other oil free compressor designs in the market.



High Efficiency Insulated Heat Exchanger

 

High efficiency insulated heat exchanger is used to bring up the operating temperature to the optimal reaction temperature for catalytic conversion and then also to cool down the clean and oil free air. In this case, heater inside conversion chamber only needs to be energized in the starting phase of the compressor.






 


Catalytic Conversion Chamber

 

Inside the catalytic conversion chamber, it is full of catalyst which is solid, highly porous system of mega-, macro- and micropores. The high porosity means also a high surface area of approx. 200m²/g. 

Chemical Reactions inside the Eco Tec Converter is a physical-chemical process which uses this special catalyst to convert the oil and other hydrocarbons into water and CO2. 

After it has passed the Eco Tec Converter, the quality of the absolutely oil free compressed air exceeds by far the requirements of ISO 8573-1 class 1 standard.
